When I say “Okami”, what do you think of? Uhh… Okami does mean wolf in Japanese, but, have you ever heard of the video game? Out for the PS2, this game can be called a revolution. In this fantasy RPG, you play as Amaterasu, the Japanese goddess of the sun. She has been reincarnated as the white wolf Shirunai to save the world, and she travels with a stray artist, a miniature dude with a big attitude called Issun. Sigh, I am gonna have to get used to saving the world. The gameplay in Okami is very complex… it involves drawing different symbols such as circles, lines, and filling in broken objects to regenerate them. Don’t worry, though, it takes no artistic talent whatsoever. You only need concentration and fingers! And RESOLVE!!!!! Erhem, nevermind. Okami is rated T for teen, but only for fantasy violence. No blood or gore, don’t worry over-protective parents of the world, your kiddies are safe. So, go ahead and try this game, it’s fun kicking evil’s butt.
This is my second article. Edit, Ahoy! I am so bored! Oh, and send my first article to Reilly please.
